Valentine's Day Nail Inspiration

Valentine's Day is just around the corner and it's never too early to get some ideas for your next set that you will LOVE. Whether you want a simple design or go all out, I have put together some ideas that are perfect for this time of year. All designs I have created can be customized with different colors, arrangements, etc.

French Tips With Red Hearts

This design is a cute twist to classic French tips. The little red hearts on top are so cute and the perfect way to add a little Valentine's to your favorite nails. I love the contrast of bright red and the nude and white tips, but of course you could do any color for the hearts or even use a few different colors. The options are endless!

Pop of Glitter

I love nails with different colors and designs on each finger. This is a great way to add some glitter without it being too much. Having a glitter ring finger accent isn't anything new, but it is a look that is always popular and very cute. The middle finger also adds so much to the overall look, tying in the plain nails with the matching color of the heart. I choose a nude pink and maroon glitter since I don't always want super bright colors but this is still a great option for Valentine's Day.

Simple Nails With A Glitter Heart Outline

This one is for whoever prefers a simple look but still wants a little design to celebrate the holiday. I love the outlined heart, even though it did take a few tries (practice, practice, practice)! It isn't pictured, but the thumb also has a glitter heart outline, but of course you can keep the design to one nail if that's what you like!

White Heartssss

This look is also pretty simple as the colors aren't super contrasting, but when you look closer, you can see all the detail that went into it. I love the white on nude designs and this is great if you don't want bright colors this Valentine's Day.

Neutral Browns With Little Hearts

This is one of my favorites and I got so many compliments on this set! I did these a few weeks before Valentine's Day which was the perfect set to transition into a more festive look. The ring finger is a lighter color and brought together by adding a little heart on the middle finger with the same shade. This is a trust the process look. At first when it was just the brown and nude nail I wasn't sure about it, but adding the little hearts were just what it needed to pull it together and create his super cute neutral look.

Red & White Hearts

This is for those who like bright nails, and who doesn't love a bright red this time of year? The middle and ring finger are accented with that same bright red and white hearts for more contrast. This one is fun because the hearts are going all different ways which make it fit together nicely.

Swirly Pinks & Glitter

I will never get tired of the swirled nail trend. It is so fun and customizable for any time of year with different colors. For this set, I used white, pink, and a maroon glitter to make it more festive and stand out. I always like doing this design on all nails but this could work as an accent nail as well if the swirls on all nails is too much for you.

Neutral Ombre Hearts

This is another one of my favorites and works for the neutral look if that's what you're going for. The hearts are made from shades of brown dark to light and can easily be done by adding a few drops of white polish to whatever brown you already have.

White Hearts on Red Nails

This is just like the last idea, but I wanted to try the same design with different colors. This one isn't my personal favorite, but I just wanted to show how any of my designs could be used in different colors. I think this is perfect for Valentine's Day since the red and white are so bright and eye-catching. I also think this one would be so cute if the colors were reversed and the background was white with red hearts.

I had so much fun creating these nail designs for Valentine's Day. I still can't decide what ones I will be doing for the actual date, they're all so cute and different.
