Winter Nail Inspo
Here's a wrap-up of my favorite winter nails I did this year. If you try any out please send me pictures, I would love to see! Also along with each picture, there are links to the products I used for each set.
1. Blue Glitter & Stripes
This style is one of my favorites to do this winter and you may see a theme with the stripes. This was my first set using this design and I absolutely loved how they turned out. It is a super simple design and only requires a nail design brush and three colors of your choice. This look is super customizable and I included another set with the same idea but in different colors that was also really cute.
2. Black, White, and Silver Snowflake
This look was super fun to do but also took quite a while! It looks harder than it was and came out amazing. I chose black, white, and silver for my Christmas nails to remain somewhat neutral. To make the snowflake design, start with a center dot and add two on the top, two on the bottom, and two to each side. Then add more dots diagonally, it should look like a square (3 by 3) and an extra dot on the top, bottom, and either side. From there, you drag from the center dot outwards to connect the lines.
3. Mauve Glitter & Stripes
This is another variation of the first blue nails. I also chose a different shape for these and think they look great. Again, this design is super customizable and could be used year round with the right colors!
4. Red & White Candy Cane
I did this bright red and white candy cane inspired look on my sister. Perfect for Christmas and another simple design to try out!
5. Black & Gold French Tips
These fun black and gold french tips were for New Years. Adding gold or silver really elevates the basic french tip look as well as angling it this way rather than a smooth curve.
I hope you love these nail designs as much as I do and that these inspire you to either have done or to try yourself. Doing nails yourself is so fun and SO much cheaper in the long run so practice! practice! practice! and of course have fun!
